We collaborated with clinical psychologist, Jana van Niekerk (Dr. Zizz), to create this beautiful children’s storybook, in 2019.
It’s International World Literacy Day on 8th September. According to UNESCO, despite some gains made in literacy levels, 123 million youth are still illiterate.
‘I Can Fly’ is an uplifting, read-aloud, full-colour picture book that carries a message of hope, empowerment, and the possibility that dreams can come true. It’s also based on a true story.
We wish to promote the ancient tradition of storytelling, the joy of reading aloud and inspiring our youth to dream beyond their circumstances.
International Literacy Day is a great reminder to pass this tradition onto the younger ones and to encourage the youth to love reading.
